- It is expected that service users will be consulted about all aspects of their daily life, including personal care, communal and household tasks, financial and social arrangements.
- To support service users to attend appointments, meetings, activities and cultural, spiritual requirements
- The support worker will be required to contribute to and work with the service users as part of a team.
- Experience working with Adults with learning disabilities preferred
- At times, you may be required to act on your own, showing self motivation, initiative and flexibility.
- You will need to be a motivated individual who wants to promote a fully inclusive lifestyle for the service users.
- Posts are subject to shift work and would need to be flexible on a ad hoc basis for sleep in cover if required to cover holidays etc.
- Support Workers are required to be flexible and minimum of 25 hours contract with overtime available
- Full training is given with ongoing career development
- Full Driving Licence is desired but not essential
- Enhanced DBS check to made prior to employment, this cost will be met by the employer
We are currently recruiting for the following vacancies:
Senior Support Worker - Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care and experience in a senior role. - Prepared to work towards Level 3.
- **Support Worker & Bank Support Worker - Various hours and shift work available
- For experienced workers with DBS - immediate start available
**Experience is not essential as full training will be given to suitable applicants. A willingness to learn, develop a career in care with a motivated personality to make a difference and provide the very best support to our clients is essential!
